i need help with my iphone. it wont detect any wifi networks only my ipod touch 2g does. I’m running the 3.0 software and its jalbroken and unlocked with t-mobile i tried restoring it like 5 times but it wont work

Not sure if it’ll work with iPhone 4 but it works like a charm on my iPhone 3Gs that running on the latest iOs 4.2. The only sucky part is you’ll have to pay .99 for 100mb worth of data.

FOUND A SOLUTION: Go to Settings: General: Networks: TURN OFF ‘ENABLE 3G AND CELLULAR DATA’. Should work!
same sh*t, I even downloaded wififofum via cydia and it did not help either.. Network or any resets are too lame for this problem, the only thing I notice is my iPhone 3G has a wifi mac adress, but cannot find any wifi. This i suppose happened as i unlocked my phone with ultrasnow.. Will do some testing before putting it’s mainboard to the oven..

And I went and reset my network settings to fix a next problem battery drain but ending up getting this same problem myslef lol

Same with mine. It was working yesterday and even this morning. Then suddenly later on, it wont detect. I tried restoring(old & new backups),rebooting,reseting the router and network settings…nothing works.
I have the unlocked tmobile too so i cant restore back to original baseband. And since i restored and cant connect to wifi, i cant ssh or download ultrasnow so i dont even have my tmobile set up anymore. PLEASE FIND A FIX!!!!

Happened to me on iPhone 3GS ios 5.01 jailbroken. It happened suddenly yesterday. The solution I found was rebooting my phone. Rispring didn’t work. Hope it helps.

I have the same problem…I was in school and it was working than when i came home i couldnt connect to my network..And today its still not working..
Same problem as bluefox7201, everthing was fine, sudenly, today it stopped working my wi-fi, now it is gray… Don`t know what is going on… I have only my 3G now… Best regards from Brazil

Hello, I have a 3Gs with ultrasnow and gophone unlimited plan. I already install APN but I can not use the data plan. Can be the SIM card? I called customer service and they activate the gophone plan on the sim card that I used to have a contract plan that starts at 89014*********

Hi,im really pissed, i looked at this video and it was really helpful!,i have an iphone 4s on 50$ gophone and when i chose the carrier i chose at&t(PAYG) and it worked just great for one day ,and i turned on the wifi on accident not ive been trying to redo all that all over again and i cant get it to work again! plz help
Yes it will work on the iPhone 4S but it mess up sending photos on your phone.

yes work, just you neet to turn on & off the airplane mode same thing with 3g,cellular data & cellular data network. woks to me…( also reboot ).
@kangta164: Does this work with iPhone 4′s?? I’ve looked everywhere to find a video that actually has footage proof that you can get the unlimited 50 dollar data package from at&t and I’ve found nothing yet! So does this only work for iPhone 3g and 3gs?

Thank you so much im using an iphone 3gs i got from my buddy 4 free cuz he upgraded,i bought a 20$ at&t go phone at the store and called and activated took 10 min then got the 50$ plan for txt and calls then the 25$ 500mb data but data didnt work! i really thought i was screwed but then i found this video and did the unlockit apn thing and bam it works great thank you so much your a lifesaver!!

It worked for me. The set up is a little different. Choose “AT&T” one the carrier and you are all set.
Using iPhone 3gs. Works perfectly.
